About YCE

Shajjad and Katie Rizvi, founders of the Little People cancer charity, created a youth cancer community in Romania and began seeking partnerships with similar organisations across Europe. While there were some initiatives and local groups sprinkled across the continent, there was no unified European network connecting them. Determined to fill this gap, they teamed up with Šarūnas Narbutas, a cancer survivor and president of the Lithuanian Cancer Society, to set out and make Youth Cancer Europe a reality.

Youth Cancer Europe Foundation was legally founded by Asociația Little People Romania and has its seat in Cluj-Napoca. Charity registration number 35424351, EU Transparency Register number 988772631423-40.
