Where can I receive the required medicine?
If your required medicine is not available in local pharmacies, please contact the local oncological clinic in your region or a neighboring one.
We understand that the access to medicine before the war and now, during the war, is different. We know that you may encounter yourself in a difficult situation and we would like to help you.
Please note that the first places where the medicine is delivered are oncological clinics.
If you know that your oncological clinic does not have a required medicine, however a different clinic does, you may receive chemotherapy sessions there. You may have to go to a different clinic that has your required medicine.
It is possible to find out about the availability of medicine in different clinics on the website of the clinic, on their social media or by calling them.
We have created a Google document that includes the contact information of the oncological clinics and links to the lists of available medicine:
Please consult the list of medicine centrally purchased by the Ukrainian government. You can review their availability in medical institutions using the online service Є-ліки (e-Medicine) .
Regional health departments are responsible for delivering and distributing the medicine among the regions. They can also provide information about the availability of the medicine in each oncological clinic.
If you have been prescribed a medicine that is currently not purchased by the Ukrainian government, please consult your doctor regarding humanitarian aid and whether this medicine may soon arrive at your clinic. If there is no such option, you may have to go abroad to undergo your treatment. However, please take into account that the doctors´ opinions may differ and there is no guarantee that when you arrive in Europe for a treatment, you will continue receiving your therapy with the same medicine. Your treatment plan may be changed.

Anesthesia and palliative care
First of all, it is necessary to mention that anesthesia is only prescribed by a family doctor, or an oncologist. If you do not have access to a family doctor, you may contact charitable foundations that help with getting access to medicine, search for pharmacies etc. for patients that already have a medical prescription and a doctor's recommendation. The medicine, including anesthetics, is available at all state pharmacies in large cities. According to a state resolution to provide palliative care during war time, a doctor may prescribe a medication using the F-3 form for additional 30 days.

Important information on leaving the country for men of 18-60 years old to undergo cancer treatment, or to accompany a person with cancer
The limitation of crossing the state border for men is regulated by the State Law of Ukraine. Please read more about mobilization preparations and the mobilizationhttps://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/3543-12#Text

At the beginning of May, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine modified the Rules of crossing the state border for the citizens of Ukraine. Thus, men of 18-60 years old may leave Ukraine if they:

1. Have a disability (of any category).
   Documents (at least one of the list must be available):
   • references to the act of inspection by the medical and social expert commission (form of primary accounting documentation № 157-1 / о)
   • certification that proves such status
   • pension document or certification that proves assignment of social assistance according to the Ukrainian Law “About state social assistance for persons with disability since childhood and children with disability”, “About state social assistance to persons that do not have right for pension, and persons with disability”, with an indication of the category and reason of disability
   • certificates for benefits to persons with disabilities who are not entitled to a pension or social assistance, according to the form approved by the Ministry of Social Policy

1. Men that accompany a person with disability of I or II category and are their father, husband, son-in-law or child.
   Documents:
   • that prove family ties
   • that prove disability of the accompanied person

1. Men that accompany a person with disability of I or II category or another person that requires permanent attention.
   Documents:
   • that prove the compensation benefits, assistance, surplus payments for attention or supervision
   • in a case of accompanying a person with disability of I or II category, documents that prove disability of the person

1. Guardians accompanying a person with a disability recognized by a court as incapable.
   Documents:
   • decision on the appointment of a guardian
   • if the guardian is not appointed to such a person, accompanied by one of the adult family members - in the presence of documents proving family ties and disability

1. Men who are duly declared unfit for military service due to their state of health with the exception of military registration.
   Documents:
   • temporary conscript certificate or military card with a mark
   • excerpt from the order on discharge from military service and exclusion from the lists of personnel

1. Men that are permanent residents abroad.
   Documents:
   • mark of the migration service in the passport document "Permanent residence in" ___ "/ stamp "Departure for permanent residence "
   • or mark of the diplomatic mission of Ukraine in the passport document "Permanent residence "___" / "Accepted for consular registration")

1. Men who are pursuing professional higher and higher education abroad.
   Documents:
   • student card or student visa
   • translated and notarized documents on enrollment / education of a person in a foreign university
   • military accounting documents with a record of granting them a deferment of conscription (mobilization conscription)
   • certificate issued by the territorial center of recruitment and social support for travel abroad for applicants for professional higher and higher education, trainee assistants, graduate students and doctoral students studying abroad in full-time or dual forms of education

1. Men who accompany children with disabilities and are the parents of such children, guardians, trustees, foster parents.
   Documents:
   • certificate confirming the appointment of social assistance, which indicates the category of "child with disabilities"
   • certificate of receiving state social assistance to children with disabilities, individual rehabilitation program for children with disabilities or medical opinion on a child with disabilities under 18 years
   • documents proving family ties
   • or documents confirming the relevant authority of the person accompanying the child with disabilities

1. Men who accompany their seriously ill children.
   Documents:
   • document issued by the medical advisory commission of the health care institution
   • certificate of state aid for a child
   • documents proving family ties (if the child's parents cross the border)
   • or documents confirming the relevant authority of the person accompanying such a child (in the case of accompaniment by a guardian, trustee, one or both foster parents, foster parents)

1. Men supporting three or more children under the age of 18.
   Documents:
   • children's birth certificates
   • certificate of registration of marriage with the mother of children
   • or a court decision on divorce and determination of the place of residence of children with their father
   • certificate of the father of a large family

1. Men who raise a child under the age of 18 on their own.
   Documents:
   • birth certificate of the child
   • death certificate of the child's mother
   • or a court decision depriving the mother of parental rights
   • or the removal of the child from the mother without depriving her of parental rights
   • or a document recognizing the mother missing or dead
